Balance bike

Tipoulet got a balance bike for his birthday last May. Immediately after the burst of excitement, he turned to us to ask where the pedals were ... Well, there were no pedals ... P and I had seen little kids use one, and read a lot of rave reviews: it teaches them to find their balance, and then they can upgrade directly to a real bike, without training wheels.
So we were off to a rough start. And indeed, the first few times, the bike spent more time in our hands than under his buttocks (fortunately, it's light as a feather). P was ready to sell it after a week ... On the other hand, P is not an image of patience.
So I worked, slowly, on the mind and the body with loulou, and now he's really good at it and loves it ! Even when he takes a fall (not often), he never hurts himself and finds it funny instead ...

Here's a short video to give you an idea.
