Dimanche dernier, on a fait 3 heureux d'un coup. On a d'abord emmené les loulous au zoo d'Oakland, que nous n'avions pas encore visité.

Il avait plusieurs avantages par rapport à celui de San Francisco:

1) il y a des éléphants,

2) il est à l'intérieur de la baie, il y fait donc beaucoup plus chaud (et les girafes ne me contrediront pas);

3) il y a plus d'attractions pour les enfants, et un espèce de télésiège vintage très sympa pour les adultes aussi;

Vous excuserez le cadrage pourri, mais j'avais peur qu'elle ne me fasse une la-poulettade en se jettant 30 mètres plus bas -

4) c'était sur le chemin de Berkeley, où P avait rendez-vous pour profiter de son cadeau de fête des pères: quelques tours de piste au volant d'une Ferrari!

Et demain, c'est mon tour, avec un concert d'Amadou et Mariam au SF Jazz Festival! Comme vous voyez, il y en a pour tous les goûts...

At least three of us had a pretty fun Sunday. First, we took the kiddos to the Oakland Zoo, which we had never been to.

This zoo had several advantages compared to the San Francisco one.

1) they have elephants;

2) it is located inside the bay, so it's a lot warmer (as the giraffes will tell you);

3) there are more attractions for kids, and even a vintage sky diver that's pretty fun for adults too;

4) it was on our way to Berkeley, where P was supposed to redeem his Father's Day gift: a few laps on a race track behind the wheel of a Ferrari!

And tomorrow, it's my turn, with an Amadou and Mariam concert at the SF Jazz Festival. As you can see, there's something for all tastes!
