Happy Mother's Day!

Bon, en vrai, la Fête des Mères, ici, c'était il y a quinze jours... Mais comme c'est aujourd'hui en France, j'en profite pour faire une session de rattrapage...

Cette année, j'ai eu ma première vraie carte, écrite et décorée par mon Tipoulet.

Et quelques jours avant, il m'avait fait une très jolie déclaration, quand j'étais allée lui faire un câlin dans son lit à notre retour d'un resto.

Moi: "Mon loulou, je te fais pas un bisou pour de vrai, sinon, je vais te mettre du rouge à lèvres partout..."
Tipoulet: "Pourquoi tu as mis du rouge à lèvres, Maman?"
Moi: "Bah, pour décorer un peu, pour être plus jolie, tu vois?"
Tipoulet: "Mais Maman, toi t'es déjà tellement jolie! T'as pas besoin de mettre du rouge à lèvres..."

Et bonne fête aussi à ma Maman, la plus jolie du monde!

So actually, Mother's Day was a couple of week-ends ago here... But since it is today in France, I'll take the opportunity to catch up a bit...
This year, I got my first real Mother's Day card, written and decorated by my Tipoulet.
And a few days earlier, he had said the sweetest thing, when I went to give him a kiss in bed after we came back from the restaurant.
Me: "Loulou, I'm not gonna give you a real kiss, otherwise I'll put lipstick all over your face..."
Tipoulet: "Why did you put on lipstick, Maman?"
Moi: "Well, just to look prettier, you see?"
Tipoulet: "But Maman, you're already so pretty! You don't need lipstick..."
And Happy Mother's Day to my mommy too, the prettiest in the whole world!
